As reported in another News article on this site, Paul Buffham was invited to attend the 2017 Sudirman Cup, held in May/June in Gold Coast, Australia, the venue of next year's Commonwealth Games. He was specifically invited, along with a number of others, to be assessed by the BWF Assessment Panel for upgrade from BWF Accredited status to BWF Certificated status.

I am pleased to announce that Paul's promotion to BWF Certificated status has now been made official by the Badminton World Federation. Congratulations Paul!
